Philanthropy is often deeply rewarding. It is rarely straightforward.

This may be at an early stage, where there is a desire to give with greater clarity and intention.
It may also arise later, when an existing approach is being revisited to bring greater focus, respond to changing circumstances, or consider how giving might evolve over time.
In each case, the need is the same: to move forward with clarity and a clear sense of direction.
My work typically unfolds in three stages:
• Clarifying what matters
• Shaping a clear direction
• Translating intention into action
We clarify what matters: your values, motivations, responsibilities, and ambitions for your giving
At the heart of my advisory work is The Philanthropy ARC™ Framework: a structured process for turning philanthropic intention into clear, considered action.
We shape a clearer direction: exploring focus areas, possible structures, organisations, relationships, and routes forward
We translate intention into action: supporting considered decisions, practical next steps, and a philanthropic approach that can evolve over time
I work independently and, where appropriate, alongside your existing advisers, including private banks, family offices, and legal advisers.
For advisers, I can provide independent philanthropic support where a client would benefit from deeper reflection, clearer direction, or specialist guidance beyond the scope of traditional wealth, legal, or tax advice.
My approach is informed by experience in philanthropic governance and decision making, ensuring that advice is thoughtful in principle and practical in application.
The focus is always the same: philanthropy that is clear in its intent, well
structured, and able to translate into meaningful action.
